…. nobles exist and live in their vortices …

they prefer not to move ahead of the pack,  but can lead if they wish; they are satisfied in their recumbent state, as in biking manner o karera ng bangka sa ilog wawa …

we are the originals of the golden isles of old; our origin is the fountain of tears that leaks into the cliffs of the mountain,  tracing and drawing the river lines in the faces of our lands …

the sound of the waters on rocky grounds, on the stones and sands that filter the liquid streams of wealth and luxury, are the trickling waves of tears of our ancestors that tickle our very existence …

turning into grains of gold, vomitting hopes and dreams for brotherhood of all native river dwellers, together with the dumagat and ita of the mountains who wish to live in their nests of comfort away from that foreign civilization …

in our tribe are the gat and dayang, leaders for governing our dwellings, surviving and living around the twin lakes for our great warriors and nobles …

we are the first foreigners ahead of anyone, we are the migrant nobility of peace and harmony …

we celebrate the hulug-dapug, the equinox, our magkasing on each rotation, to emphasize our adherence to equality of men …

we know how to count the days of the year, from the rising sun in the east and to the sinking in the west, from hundreds, thousands, millions, billions, trillions and even more, to no end …

we celebrate our thanksgiving with the blessings of heaven and earth, rivers and oceans, with great respect and worship to our great creator, by remembering our great tagalog ancestors of true men …

the other settlers from far away lands, the chinese, hindu, muslim, visayans and other malayans have been free to come over and live with us …

in our huts, homes, palaces and mansions on either sides of our rivers, and they chose to stay insistently longer and permanently as a wave of immigrants …

and later on, the castillans of europe in search of wealth of our mountains and seas, and they will continue to come back with their gladiators and conquerors, as crusaders …

along with people of all races, mexican, visayans, americans, europeans, who can always take connivance with the the kapampang, kumintang or utistik chinese to share in the bounty of our paradise …

in doing so as they always do, they break the pure faith in our great creator, destroy our respect for our ancestors, replace or add new methods of managing our loyalty to the native community …

that actually happened within the hundreds years of the past, and until to today the colonization is still rendering its services, but forgetting the knowledge of writing and reading the system of tagalog language, in place of the foreign tongues …

the english, americans, japanese and forever intruding chinese, in a foremost desire to usurp the wealth of the river dwellers here in the island of gold, would give a new name to themselves as migrant settlers, no longer squatters, who follow the instructions of their laws on ownership of land justified by the name of Torrens, unmindful of the origin and nobility of our native land …

the squatters who later gained wealth out of our own golds supported the new government of the foreigners by providing ammunitions against the native river dwellers who disavow their loyalty to the new order …

the story and life of the first inhabitants and the clan of pinga, can show the erasures of the true ideals of the river dwellers in the history of our land, calling them as trouble-maker bastards of a penis …

right now, the migrant settlers that they called squatters, are being known as informal settlers while the others who conquered our government, religion and faith live majestically in palaces and mansions …

so ridiculous in the eyes of someone who can look into the indigenous history of our name pinga, who can gaze with the finger pointing to the skies saying god …

as the strangers still say “feeng .. gah” as they look at the island of corsica, instead of  “pi nga”, so sweet and gentle in malumay na baybay, hahaha!
