The ice bucket challenge is sometimes called the ALS ice bucket challenge dumping a bucket of ice water on the head para mabuhusan ng malamig na tubig para mangaligkig sa ginaw.

Para daw sa awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis to encourage donations.

Pero earlier sa UK daw, people participate in the challenge for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Nominated participants will have to be filmed with poured bucket of ice water on their heads and challenging others to do the same.

The origins of the idea of dumping cold water on one’s head to raise money for charity are unclear and have been attributed to multiple sources.

Noong mid-2013 to early 2014, a challenge of unknown origin often called the cold water challenge was popular on social media in areas of the northern united states.

Dalawa lang pagpipilian ng hinamon: donate money to cancer research or charity or jump into cold water.

A number of criticisms have arisen relating to the campaign, accusing it of being self-congratulatory, focusing primarily on fun rather than donating money to charity, and as an example of substituting a trivial activity for more genuine involvement in charitable activities.

Some described the challenge as “a middle-class wet-t-shirt contest for armchair clicktivists, similar to what is being seen in the philippine television shows which is more of a planned gimmickry and obvious wish on propaganda mileage for popularity.

Pero ingat-ingat lang kayong gustong makiusyoso at makihalo, the challenge may have adverse health effect on participants with blood pressure medications.

A number of participants have sustained injuries, and at least two deaths daw have been linked to the challenge, pero ala pa naman akong napapatunayang namatay nga talaga …

Mahirap daw, according to my sister and their children. His mind was very clear, yet he couldn’t move nor eat. That was why his family is among those who do this challenge…and, some members of our family here too.
